I can't believe June is more than halfway over. I've been on summer break for a month but it sure doesn't feel like it!

I think I have 4 Milani Color Statement lipsticks total and I will be reviewing all of them in the next couple weeks. This lipstick, in Ruby Valentine, has both good and bad qualities to it. It's a lipstick I hope to finish up by the end of 2014.

I received this lipstick in my Uni Vox Box a couple weeks ago. It's called Forever Fuchsia but I think it should have 'unicorn' in the name somewhere. I finally gave myself some time to try it out and let's just say I'm really upset NYC isn't completely cruelty free. (For more information check out this post from Logical Harmony.)

I showed these in a haul I posted a little while ago. Love Me is on the left and Fairy Dust is on the right. I was so excited to try these glitters out because I bought them for only $1 each. That's not bad at all for glitter polish. I quickly realized that these glitters are really only good for special events (or rather a short time period.)

This post will be the start of a new series appropriately titled Affordable Beauty. Through this series, I will share my experiences and tips for saving money on beauty. First up is a haul of a ton of ELF products I got for only $35!

And no, it didn't come ripped like that. My mom wanted to see what I got while we were at dinner and I, not having access to scissors, proceeded to rip it open.

So let's get started with makeup!
C.O. Bigelow French Vanilla Mint lip balm: This was really nice but it's very old and I didn't want to chance it breaking me out around my lips!
ELF Eyelid Primers: These didn't work for me at all. I'm currently cleaning out my makeup and decided these needed to go.
Chapstick: This actually expired a few years ago!
Daisy perfume sample: I liked wearing this, but I haven't bought perfume in years and I don't plan on buying any anytime soon.
Sephora Army Green: This mini nail polish was good, but it chipped pretty quickly. I don't plan on buying any more Sephora nail polishes!
Glide floss: I realized I needed to floss more at the end of last year. I liked this a lot.
Trader Joe's Tea Tree Oil: This helped dry up my acne but the smell was VERY strong. This will always be my backup acne treatment.
Jergens lotion: I wish this was cruelty free because it is so lovely.
Sunscreen: This is super old. Time for new sunscreen.
Zoya Remove+: This is an amazing cruelty free polish remover. I will repurchase this as soon as I can get myself to spend the money on it.
Vitafusion MultiVites: I'm a child when it comes to vitamins. I love gummy vitamins and, as an adult, I choose to continue to buy them. Will always repurchase.
Walmart Hot Apple Cider candle: I burned this for a couple weeks during the holiday and when I had the stomach flu. I feel like it helped me feel better!
I'll probably be posting another 'empties' soon as I'm almost done with a lot of products!

Ice skating has always been this fascinating thing to me. That people could put on skates and literally glide across ice is awesome. Two of my best friends and I went ice skating a year ago in San Pedro, California. Last Saturday we decided to go again- but this time to a different place!
